About the Role:
Crown Peak Advisors is seeking motivated candidates with prior investment banking experience for an Associate position based at our headquarters in Miami, Florida, with the option to work fully remote.
As an Investment Banking Associate, you will play a central role in originating and executing M&A transactions, capital raises and other strategic advisory engagements across the technology and business services sectors. Working directly with senior investment bankers, you will manage day-to-day execution across multiple live transactions simultaneously, support clients throughout the entire transaction lifecycle from origination through closing and oversee and mentor analysts.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the execution of M&A transactions, equity and debt financings and other advisory mandates across the technology and business services verticals

Develop client presentations, pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management and board presentations and other transaction-related materials

Prepare comprehensive strategic and M&A analyses, detailed company valuations, financial / operating models and other company and transaction-related financial analyses

Lead due diligence and drafting sessions with clients

Prepare and lead client presentations and meetings, contributing to the development of long-term client relationships

Manage, mentor and develop Analysts

Conduct industry and company-specific research to support business development and transaction execution

Analyze complex business and financial information, synthesizing large volumes of disparate data into clear, actionable insights
Qualifications:

Three – five years of experience in investment banking

Exceptional work ethic, integrity and professionalism

Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical capabilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under tight deadlines

Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and high standards for quality and accuracy

Travel may be required on an as-needed basis, depending on client engagements. This role will initially be non-salaried, with compensation provided through transaction-based bonuses upon deal closings.
